Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis mask up while at a grocery store with their kids in LA

Family outing: Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis took their two children with them for a family run on Saturday

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were pictured wearing face masks outside as they ran an errand in Studio City in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The longtime actor and his wife, 44 and 38, were dressed casually for the outing with their two children Wyatt Isabelle, seven, and Dimitri, five.

The spouses both wore face masks, with Mila in white and Ashton in black, and they held hands with each of their children.

They did this even though LA currently has no mask mandate, despite recent moves by some health experts to reintroduce them.

Ashton and Mila are particularly cautious about COVID. Last September, they told People that they were eagerly awaiting the approval of vaccines for children.

The couple also explained that they take COVID measures seriously knowing that the virus can still be transmitted even if they are vaccinated.

Ashton explained, “Even if you get vaccinated, you can still get COVID and give it to your child, and they can still get really sick and shut down the whole school. Who wants to be this person? Nobody.’

Los Angeles recently considered reinstating mask mandates, but local communities such as Beverly Hills have discussed not enforcing the mandate due to a downward trend in Covid cases.

Long Beach and Pasadena have also indicated they will abide by state laws on mask mandates instead of following LA’s plan.

The only major county to have beefed up mask mandates this year was Alameda County, but the mandate was dropped after three weeks due to low infection rates.

LA County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said at a press briefing that there has been a “pretty steady decline in cases since July 23,” adding that “time has stood still for the moment”.

Ferrer and city officials decided not to enforce the mandate due to declining case numbers in recent weeks after Los Angeles entered the “high” category of cases a fortnight ago.

The category is defined by the CDC as 10 Covid-related hospital admissions per 100,000 population, and the number hovered at 11.7 as of Thursday, allowing city officials to deem it low enough not to ask residents to wear masks.

“You could see that we are at the limit, between the medium and the high. It won’t take much to get us back to that average community level,” Ferrer said.

LA could see mask mandates return to schools, and Kutcher and Kunis have two children together, Dimitri Portwood, 5, and Wyatt Isabelle, 7.

Kutcher, star of the new film Vengeance, was comfortably dressed in a white crew neck t-shirt and faded jeans.

He added light gray sneakers to the look and wore a dark baseball cap with a yellow circle on the front.

Mila was dressed in baggy brown overalls as she held hands with her seven-year-old daughter, Wyatt.

Meanwhile, Asthon stayed close to Dimitri, who is five, holding the toddler’s hand.

Mila – full name Milena Markovna – wore a sleeveless black shirt under her trendy sweater.

It was tight and she accessorized it with a long necklace that had a rectangular pendant in the center.

Her thick, rich brown hair was a bit tousled as she let it fall over her shoulders in a small part.

She wore a pair of white tennis shoes and carried an iced coffee with a blue straw in her hand.

The pair, who met when they were cast on That ’70s Show, have reprized their roles as Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso for the upcoming spin-off, That ’90s Show.

This ’70s show aired from 1998 to 2006, with the two actors maintaining a friendship throughout that time.

Years later, they became romantically involved, marrying in 2015 – two years after Kutcher split from ex-wife Demi Moore.

About their return to the characters, Ashton recently said in an interview with Variety‘Mila and I were contemplating it.

“We thought, ‘Look, we’re only in the position we’re in because of this show, so let’s go back and do this. We just got back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.

And talk to entertainment tonight he added: ‘It was super nostalgic and really weird. Like, going back to the basement, just going back to the set, it was weird. Besides, being with everyone is… weird.

The new series will feature Ashton and Mila co-stars Topher Grace, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama, although the main cast will consist of younger actors, led by Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, the daughter of the characters Grace and Prepon.
