We haven’t heard much about Bronny James’ signing in recent months, but a surprise school is said to be entering the roster of the 2023 four-star guard.
According to a report by Adam Zagoria, Rutgers is making a play for the legendary NBA star’s son.
“One school making an unexpected push to recruit James is Rutgers, a basketball player. As outlandish as it may sound, Rutgers hopes coach Steve Pikiell’s strong developmental record – turning rookies lightly regarded as Geo Baker, Ron Harper Jr. and Myles Johnson as decorated Big Ten players – has a certain appeal for James,” reports the Times.
While some are skeptical, Rutgers has had notable recruiting success lately, and the Scarlet Knights have become an NCAA tournament-level program.
Bronny James has also been linked to schools like Duke, UNC, Kentucky, Texas, UCLA, Ohio State, and Tennessee, among others.
Where do you see it ending?
