Do it Best kicks off fall market focused on driving success

INDIANAPOLIS — Do it Best kicked off its fall market Friday at the Indiana Convention Center, welcoming member-owners and vendors from across the country. The annual event, held September 9-12 this year, offers key industry insights, proven best practices and exclusive buying opportunities. With the theme of Solutions for your successthe Do it Best team will share the various offerings the co-op will be offering to drive member growth in the coming year.

Highlights of the event will include Merchandising Preview and Power Preview. The Merchandising Preview will provide an energetic, high-impact preview of the best new products, special offers, and vendor-exclusive products before the market opens. The Power Preview, held at a new location across from Lucas Oil Stadium, will allow members to try out the latest power tools and grilling equipment while sampling dishes from grillmasters representing top sellers.

This year, members will also have access to Solutions in Action, a full-scale home center exhibit showcasing best practices in merchandising, lighting, fit-up and branding, as well as integration complete e-commerce. This real-world example lets members see the customer journey in-store and online, wrapped in modern style, bright open floor plans, and engaging Signature Store Design displays.

The four-day event schedule is jam-packed with new product reveals, free seminars on operational excellence and marketing expertise, and exclusive offers on in-demand products.

The market opened Friday with the Power Preview, LBM Industry Update and Merchandising Preview, each offering members a chance to max out their buying game plan before they hit the market. Throughout the weekend, members will hear about growth opportunities during the market launch, shareholder meeting and chairman’s speech; access expertise in business growth, leadership, technology and products through a series of free educational seminars and workshops; and network with other members at the Market Mixer and LBM Reception.
