'He's the Best Teammate I Could Ask For'

It’s a full house for Jodie Sweetin!

On Saturday evening, the actress married her boyfriend of five years, a clinical social worker Mescal Wasilewskiin an intimate ceremony at a private Malibu home with her two daughters and Full house cast mates including John Stamos and Candace Cameron Burein the presence, PEOPLE can share exclusively.

“I know I have the right partner for the rest of my life,” says Sweetin, 40, who got engaged in Wasilewski in January. “And I couldn’t be more grateful.”

The bride, dressed in a dress of Lili brideswalked down the aisle with her father Sam, while her daughters – Zoie, 14, and Beatrix, 11 – stood beside her as she and Wasilewski exchanged personalized vows and rings from Kay Jewelers.

Sweetin chose a 1/3ct diamond outline Neil Lane wedding band and Wasilewski chose a white gold wedding band. To celebrate the blending of their families, the couple also gifted their daughters matching yellow gold and diamond necklaces from Kay Jewelers Circle of Gratitude.

After the ceremony in the courtyard, the 50 guests, including her Full house teammates Stamos, 58, Cameron Bure, 46, and Andrea Barbierenjoyed a taco dinner and guacamole bar, served by Border grill.

The group also ate small bites of cakes and desserts from Big Sugar Bakery.

“I didn’t want it to be difficult,” Sweetin says of the reception, which was planned by Sara Landon Events. “The look is very organic and natural. It’s just about good food and good friends – and twinkling lights!”

After meeting through mutual friends, Sweetin and Wasilewski began dating remotely in 2017 (he was in New York, she was in Los Angeles) before moving to Los Angeles in 2020.

“All the pieces fell into place,” says Sweetin.

And the actress says their deep support and love for each other only grows.

“Mescal makes me feel absolutely comfortable and safe to shine as hard as I need to,” she says. “He steps in and shows up for my girls. And we harmonize so well. He really is the best teammate I could ask for.”
