Jennifer Garner warns fans to 'be cautious' about injectables

Jennifer Garner is no daredevil when it comes to polishing her famous face.

The 50-year-old Texas actress recently spilled her beauty secrets at Harper’s Bazaar, including the advice she would pass on to her two teenage daughters with ex-husband Ben Affleck: Violet Anne Affleck, 16, and Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, 13. (The former couple also share son Samuel, 10.)

“My advice is to look less at the mirror and be careful when it comes to injecting anything into your face,” the ‘Alias’ star said.

“Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as long as possible to add anything.”

At a time when 20s are opting for preventative Botox, Garner also warned young people, “Don’t think you’re 37 and have to shoot yourself.

In fact, the “13 Going On 30” beauty thinks we could all handle putting less of a stake in our appearances in general.

“Look at yourself less in the mirror, be less obsessed, and look at the rest of the world to see what you could use your time for instead,” she said. “We’re all looking at our faces more than people used to, and it doesn’t do you any good. You are obsessed with changes or how to fix something in your face.

Garner is far from the only star to have expressed reservations about injectables; Philipps busy recently revealed she had “no Botox, no fillers,” and “[gets] disappointed when very young women start to f—k with their faces.

Likewise, Kate Beckinsale said she gets “pissed off” when people assume that she has had work done and has withdrawn so far for fear of “crippling [her] Face.”

Even seemingly ageless icon Jennifer Lopez – who married Garner’s ex earlier this month – insists she “has never had Botox or injections or surgery.”
