Lottery ticket sold in Ware, Mass. hits for $16.35M – Boston 25 News

WARE, Mass. – A $16.35 million winning lottery ticket was sold in Ware, Mass., according to the Massachusetts Lottery.

The ticket was for the Saturday, September 10 draw of Megabucks Doubler. This is the game’s biggest jackpot since its launch in April 2009, according to lottery officials.

The cash option for the prize is $12 million.

Prior to this win, Megabucks Doubler’s previous biggest jackpot was $13.82 million. That win came in March 2012 and was sold to Wakefield, lottery officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at a West Street Cumberland Farms, officials said.

The winning numbers were 3-10-15-17-26-38.

The owner of the winning ticket has one year from the date of the draw to claim their prize.
