Skull and Bones Trailer Shows Off Ship Customization, Pirate Lairs

Skull and Bones received a new trailer today that showcases a number of features including ship customization and its pirate lairs, where you smuggle your treasure and sell it to the highest bidder.

Revealed at Ubisoft Forward 2022, we looked at ship customization systems, including cannons, ship armor that counters different types of damage, and visual customizations like paint, sails, and other decor. We’ve also seen a preview of Pirate Lairs, where you collect your stashes of loot.

We’ve also learned that Skull & Bones will feature cross-platform play at launch, and while there’s obviously a lot of PvP at the heart of it, you can turn off PvP at any time so others won’t bother you.

PC gamers can sign up today for a chance to play the game sooner via the official site.
