Sophie Grace sets the record straight on people’s assumptions about him.
The 19-year-old internet personality posted a new video on her YouTube channel on Friday, in which she touched on a small handful of things fans have speculated or wondered about – including whether or not she’s had plastic surgery and what is his relationship with his cousin Rosie McClelland it’s like now.

At one point in the 13-minute video, Sophia Grace dropped speculation that she had had plastic surgery or cosmetic treatments, such as lip fillers.
“So someone said, ‘At first when I saw you on social media, I thought you had plastic surgery, right?'” she said, referencing a fan’s comment, before clarifying, “No, I don’t have just any plastic surgery. I’ve probably answered this quite a few times on my Instagram and on YouTube. So no, I I haven’t had plastic surgery.
“The main comment that people think the main operation that people think I had is that my lips were redone,” Sophia Grace added. “I mean, I really don’t think my lips look that big. Maybe I didn’t emphasize them as much as I usually do today. But I’ve never had any products from lip fillers. I wouldn’t be interested in getting lip fillers.”
Although she noted that she could not say whether or not she could have plastic surgery in the future, she said she did not want or need it, at least not for the moment.
The young star added that the way she wears makeup might make people think she’s done some work. “If I have, you know, lips that look quite plump and big sometimes, it’s literally just makeup,” Sophia Grace explained. “Makeup is very powerful and obviously without makeup I look very different than what I do with it, what most people do. And yeah, maybe that’s why people think it’s because I’m pretty good at makeup and I’m pretty good at making it look like my face may have had surgery, even though it didn’t.”
Sophia Grace also opened up about her relationship with her 15-year-old cousin Rosie. The two girls, of course, became global sensations after performing “Super Bass” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” together in 2011. Sophia Grace and Rosie have appeared on the daytime talk show more than 30 times, and came back one last time in May before “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was finally signed.
In her video, Sophia Grace said she was often asked about Rosie, noting there were “so many” questions and assumptions fans have made about their relationship now – with some speculating that they’re not “that close” or “don’t”. you can’t hear it.”
The pop singer shut down any speculation by explaining, “Me and Rosie have always been really close. We’ve literally been like sisters since she was born. So if you didn’t know, my dad is the brother of Rosie’s mom. Rosie So we are like first cousin[s] and yeah, I mean obviously when me and Rosie were together in America filming ‘The Ellen Show’, we would obviously be together, like every day.”
She continued: “So yeah, we definitely saw each other more, but now that we’re older and you know, because we’re slightly different ages, we do different things. We see different people. So yeah, we don’t. We don’t see each other as much as we used to, but that doesn’t change how close we are and how much we care about each other, so yeah, we’ll still love to have the same bond, but yeah, when we were younger, we definitely saw each other more.”

Meanwhile, another topic Sophia Grace touched on in her YouTube video was her mental health, responding to the hypothesis that she suffers from anxiety. The “Little Things” singer said yes, before detailing her struggles with anxiety and panic attacks.
“I guess you could say I have anxiety. I have general anxiety,” Sophia Grace said. “I had panic attacks before I went on stage last year. I never talked about it before, even when I was taking a break from social media, part of the reason why [is] I had this thing where I literally woke up one day randomly, I was having dinner in the kitchen, and I literally started getting really short of breath and couldn’t breathe. And I literally felt like my world was ending. And I was like, ‘I felt like I was dying.’ I couldn’t breathe.”
Sophia Grace said her mother told her she was having a panic attack and had one “every day” during which she “couldn’t breathe properly”.
“I suffered from constant anxiety and honestly I don’t know what caused it. It happened,” she said, before recalling an incident in which her anxiety became so severe that she went to the hospital. “One night I was in so much pain that I asked my mum to call an ambulance because I literally felt like my throat was choking up and I went to [the] hospital and they were like, ‘You’re fine. It’s just anxiety. They [did] tests on me.”
“So this really shows you how much anxiety can affect you and cause you to experience real physical symptoms,” Sophia Grace added. “I also definitely have health anxiety, but that’s something else that I’m not going to get into today. So I’m not going to talk about that today, but yeah, it’s that’s kinda what I have.”
The Essex-born star also opened up about her sexuality in the video, responding to fans who asked if she had ever “questioned” her sexuality.
“So I’m straight. I don’t think I’ve ever really questioned my sexuality,” Sophia Grace said. “I mean, I feel like sometimes when you’re younger it just pops into your head and you’re like, ‘Could I be like this?’ But I never really questioned it or thought about it properly. So yeah, I’m definitely straight.”
