In a recent video, an emergency rescue worker enlisted in Ukraine’s war efforts is seen proposing to his partner by kneeling down and presenting her with a ring.
The woman tearfully accepts the proposal as the sounds of sirens echo in the background. The couple are surrounded by members of the emergency rescue service and onlookers who record their happy moments on phone cameras.

This lifeguard used to save people, now he’s proposing. The siren moans for danger, now it rings in joy.

Thanks for sharing, sir. Make my heart leap. Russia doesn’t have enough brutality and sadism to break 🇺🇦 people. 🇬🇧 it is hope and belief in all that is dear to me and to many people in the West. Keep reminding us, our governments, of our shared values. I do too.
