It seems impossible, but an anonymous artist has created a optical illusion it looks like this.
In a viral video that shows how this optical illusion was created, a man can be seen wrapping a piece of paper around a tree trunk. He then proceeds to draw the outline of a girl standing on a ball. The artist then blends the background of the image with the background of the actual location until it appears to be part of the environment. He finishes his work by painting the girl.
At the end, it looks like the girl is spinning on a ball as the tree trunk is dissected into two parts. The video was posted on Twitter by a popular account that goes by the name of Gabriele Corno (@Gabriele_Corno) on Friday.
It managed to garner 2.2 million views in just 24 hours.
Commenting on the anonymous artist’s impeccable skills, one Twitter user wrote: “ok this is art I would love to see all over the gardens…incredibly smart and inventive”. Another user jokingly remarked, “Amazing talent, he could actually make a tree disappear…and that’s NOT a good thing when you’re running through the forest.”
