WWE Slam summer kicked off with the RAW Women’s Championship match between Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch. The launch show saw Theory declare that we were heading into “The Theory Age,” among other shenanigans.
WWE SummerSlam Results (July 30, 2022): Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch – RAW Women’s Championship Match
Lynch started strong and tried the Dis-arm-her early on, but Belair was able to get away with it. Big Time Becks focused on the champion’s arm and bounced her off the ropes before EST came back with a few dropkicks and brought her down with a slam.
Bianca picked up Lynch in the KOD position outside the ring, but the latter came out and dropped her on the barricades. The challenger managed to send Belair to the outside but was dropped on the apron before the champion sent him into the ring post. Big Time Becks seems to have injured her shoulder In the process.
Lynch burst out with a big move and hit the Diamond Dust for a near pinfall. Belair managed to hit a KOD on the outside before the challenger was kicked out of the ring. The former champion got the slam manhandled in the ring but failed to get the pin.
Belair reversed a big move and hit a Spanish fly before getting the KOD for the win.
Result: Bianca Belair defeated. Becky Lynch will retain the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam
Belair was celebrating when Bayley’s music hit and she was back. Bayley went to ringside and Dakota Kai and Io Shirai (now known as IYO Sky) also appeared. The trio was apparently in an alliance as they made their way to the champion in the ring.
Lynch also came and stood next to Belair and challenged the trio. The Bayley team made a tactical retreat, choosing to settle things another time.
The Miz vs. Logan Paul at SummerSlam
The Miz was dominating early on but Logan came back with a big takedown. Miz dropped Logan off the ropes and hit a code breaker before getting a chin up. Logan Paul got a blockbuster before hitting a running Powerslam for a near fall.
Logan Paul got the Figure Four Leglock but The Miz managed to get the rope break. Ciampa distracted the apron and the referee sent him off the sidelines. He instead took a chair and sat down at ringside before the music from AJ Styles hit.
Styles came in with an off-screen dive and attacked Ciampa, taking him into the crowd before the match continued. Paul got the phenomenal forearm for a near fall on the Miz in the ring.
Logan Paul set The Miz up on the announcers table and hit a splash off the top rope. Maryse tried to interfere but the YouTube star almost sent Miz inside her before getting the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
Result: Logan Paul defeated. The Miz
Backstage at SummerSlam, Maximum Male Models did a short promo for ‘Pure Life’ which is their official water brand.
Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory – United States Title match at SummerSlam
Theory attacked Lashley with his briefcase before the match after the bell rang and tried to knock the American champion down. Lashley reversed a vertical suplex before throwing Theory around the ring.
Theory tried to get out of the match but Lashley chased him down and threw him into the barricades. Back in the ring, Theory landed a big dropkick before both strikes were exchanged in the middle of the ring.
Lashley got the running Powerslam but dodged the spear before The All Mighty got the Hurt Lock. Theory couldn’t burst and tapped out, leaving Lashley pick up victory.
Result: Bobby Lashley defeated. Theory to retain United States title at SummerSlam
Judgment Day vs. The Mysterios – No Disqualification match at SummerSlam
The match started before the bell and The Judgment Day got the first takedowns, but the Mysterios managed to send them both outside and before Dominik and Rey struck to eliminate them.
Dominik was isolated in the ring and Balor raged on him for a while before the tags were finally done. Rey came in and made some big moves on Priest before knocking Balor off the apron.
Balor got chairs but Rey used them to beat him. Rey missed the 619 before getting a frog splash. Rhea Riple interrupted the double-619 and dropped Dominik to the apron before Priest got South of Heaven on Rey.
Balor was looking for a chair to end the match but Edge has come back and hit spears on his former teammates before the Mysterios got the 619 on Balor and took the win.
Result: The Mysterios won. Judgment Day at SummerSlam
Pat McAfee vs. Baron Corbin at SummerSlam
McAfee got a superkick and a big hurricane early on and sent Corbin on the outside. Back in the ring, Corbin took control and threw Pat across the ring before sending him outside and into the barricades.
Corbin got the Deep Six for a near fall before stepping on the commentary mic to taunt McAfee and his parents. The commentator climbed to the top and hit the Swanton Bomb on the outside, knocking Corbin down.
Back in the ring, McAfee countered End of Days but the referee came down in stride. McAfee came in with a low kick while the ref was down and landed a Sunset Flip, which was seemingly sloppyto raise the to win.
Result: Pat McAfee defeated. Baron Corbin
After the match, the SmackDown commentator went to ringside and apparently exchanged a few passionate words with Corey Graves. He then proceeded to a Michael Cole high-five.
Drew McIntyre was next and said that at Clash at the Castle he would earn the undisputed WWE Universal Title before SummerSlam moved on.
The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits – Undisputed Tag Team Championship match at SummerSlam
Dawkins and Jimmy Uso started the match and The Usos were able to isolate the former early on. Dawkins came back with a big move in the corner and got the tag before Montez Ford came in with a top rope sling.
Ford received a curb slam on Jey for a near fall before the latter got a daredevil on a counter. Dawkins was back with the tag and hit a dive on both Usos on the outside. The Profits arrived with a double team in the ring for a near pinfall before Jimmy ducked a big move and tagged.
The Usos landed double superkicks before falling near the splash. The Usos followed up with a double splash on Dawkins but Ford broke the pin. Ford got his own splash on Jey but failed to get the pin.
Ford attempted another risky move at ringside, but took two super punches to the face. Back in the ring, Dawkins also took the double superkick before the champions got the 1D For victory.
Result: The Usos (c) won. The Street Profits will retain the Undisputed Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam
Riddle was next and he was angry. He called up Seth Rollins but was barred from competing after suffering a neck injury earlier in the week. Rollins came out and Riddle charged him down the ramp as a fight broke out.
The two made their way to the ring and Rollins landed another jab, maybe hurting the old one tag team champion further.
Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey – SmackDown Women’s Title match at SummerSlam
Rousey got a takedown just a second after the bell and took control, but Morgan countered with a big move and went for a submission. Rousey switched to the armband before Morgan turned him into the rings of Saturn.
Morgan tried for a rollup but the former UFC star caught her in the armbar. Liv barely stepped on the ropes to break the hold, but Rousey dragged her to the center and locked her again.
The referee stopped the game for a second to check Liv’s arm but she refused to give up. The Baddest Woman on the Planet Received the Arm Bar and Champion Again typed, but at the same timeRousey’s shoulders were on the mat and the referee counted to three.
Result: Liv Morgan defeated. Ronda Rousey will retain the SmackDown Women’s Title at SummerSlam
The official call was that Morgan held back with a pin, but Rousey was furious and beat the champ before locking the armbar on the referee. The officials saved the referee and Rousey walked off as Morgan was barely able to lift her arm.
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar – Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed Universal Title at SummerSlam
Roman reigns took the mic and asked the crowd to salute him while Brock Lesnar literally drove a massive tractor around the ring. Lesnar did his own introduction before jumping off the tractor and unloading on Roman.
The match went out and the steel steps came into play immediately when Brock German suplexed Roman. Roman was thrown into the steel frame of the set before taking more suplexes at ringside.
The Beast took out tables and Reigns passed him two before putting a big spear in the ring. Reigns was sent out of the ring before Lesnar threw him onto a broken table. The challenger got his tractor but then got out of it and beat Reigns with a piece of table.
The Beast loaded Reigns into the front of the tractor before tossing him into the ring like wood. Reigns still got up and took a bunch of suplexes. Roman got up once more before Brock got an F5.
Roman refused to stay down and countered an F5 with a guillotine. Lesnar knocked him into his own guillotine before using the tractor to lift the entire ring, sending Roman out!
The ring was mangled but Roman was still standing. The Usos showed up and beat Lesnar but were inevitably destroyed with suplexes. Heyman was screaming at ringside and got an F5 through a table from Brock before Reigns knocked him down with a spear.
Theory came out and hit Reigns with the briefcase but Brock annihilated him before he could cash in. The Usos took out Brock with double superkicks before Reigns hit a spear.
Reigns beat Lesnar with the title belt before he and Usos buried Lesnar in a mountain of debris at ringside before the tribal leader gets his victory.
Result: Roman Reigns defeated. Brock Lesnar will retain the undisputed WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam
Lesnar crawled out of the wreckage and The Bloodline made its way as SummerSlam went off the air.

We had a big main event as well as the return of Bayley with two new faces. Edge got his revenge on Judgment Day as all the titles were up for grabs tonight at SummerSlam.
